Boston Fashion Week-Eco Friendly Collection
– Recycle, reuse, reinvent. Shubrah.com’s mantra has been to create eco-friendly fusion fashions for the globalista. Using rich Indian saris, Indonesian batik sarongs, Kashmiri wool embroidery on silk or wool scarves, the designer Shubhra Bhattacharya Chandra seeks to revisit old crafts of textile weaving and embroidery in western silhouettes.
As usual, the company gives back to the local community through fundraising efforts by NGOs involved in the welfare of women and children as well as environmental agencies.
